Well, not that I would ever see Patrick Bateman as a Broadway star, but there was some cool news to hit the trades today.
According to Variety AMERICAN PSYCHO The Musical is taking shape with Duncan Sheik to write music and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (who currently writes for the HBO series "Big Love") to pen the adaptation. There's been no word on when the show will run or where exactly, but I think it's a pretty interesting story to adapt. Let's see if they skewer closer to the film adaptation version or Bret Easton Ellis's much more macabre vision. - Heather Wixson |
