Ever wanted to make your own horror movie? Well a student from a Pasedena, California high school has already put her film future into motion. Raising a budget of $500 seventeen year old Ashley Howe produced, directed, and edited a 15 minute color horror film entitled “Scenic Drive.” With a story where a group of four teenage friends visit a creepy, empty house where a grisly murder occurred. After realizing their lives are in danger, the teens begin disappearing, one by one; the film was shot in 2 days. Howe plans to enter the film into the International Student Film Festival of Hollywood which comes around in November. On top of completing the film Ashley has also started her own production company called: AHowie Productions, landing jobs filming live shows, music videos, parties and other private events and promotional videos.
