A young Hollywood actor by the name Brad Renfro was found dead on January 15th at his home, causes have not be identified yet. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday. Speculation has begun about drug involvement since the actor has a past with illegal drugs and getting arrested on charges involving them. Brad Renfro got his start as the kid in that lawyer movie The Client, but horror genre fans may best remember him as the young man in the Stephen King movie Apt Pupil or in the sci-fi psychological thriller The Jacket; he played “the stranger” in The Jacket.
Also, following horror hostess Vampira to the grave is the Rev, Lynn Lemon. A Baptist minister who had a role in Ed Wood’s Plan Nine From Outer Space, as did Vampira. The Rev. died Tuesday in Texas via a heart attack, which was preceded by a stroke he was recovering from. He also starred in Invasion of the Bee Girls. Lemon was 90 years old. - Wes Laurie |
