Early this morning, the news broke that one of the most iconic child actors of the 80s, Corey Haim, had passed away from what looks to be an accidental overdose.
For genre fans, Haim may be best known for his roles in SILVER BULLET, WATCHERS, or most notably in Joel Schumacher's THE LOST BOYS, which paired him up with his long-time collaborator and fellow teen idol, Corey Feldman. Haim had recently reprised his role as Sam Emerson in last year's THE LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE and played a strip club owner in CRANK 2: HIGH VOLTAGE. It seems that Haim was poised to make a comeback, with 9 upcoming projects noted on his IMDB page.
