Crazy Ei8ghts is another film being showcased not only here, but of course as one of the 8 Films to Die For currently making their rounds at a theater near you; thanks to After Dark’s Horrorfest.
The official plot for the film goes something like this: Six people are brought together at the funeral of a childhood friend. While settling the estate, they discover a map, which leads them on a search for a long forgotten time capsule, at the request of their dead friend. What they discover reawakens repressed childhood traumas and leads them on a journey through their long abandoned childhood home: a home with a terrible secret and a mysterious dead girl who will lead them to their strange fates. 
The trailer shows a bunch of people getting trapped in a house, uh oh someone is screwing around with them and they talk and yell while some experimental surgery imagery flashes before our eyes; well some pictures of tools or something. The trailer actually seems to go on way too long with words flashing at you; eek. The film Crazy Ei8ghts is directed by James Koya Jones and the cast members include: Traci Lords as Gina Conte - Lords shot to fame as an underage porn star and has since gone the way of legit films for more years than not. She had a part in the first Blade and to mention a few more horror based flicks: Skinner, Serial Mom, and some Tales From the Crypts episodes. Frank Whaley as Brent Skyes - Mr. Whaley is the creepy little guy that runs the hotel in Vacancy. Dina Meyer as Jenifer Jones - She is Kerry from Saw 1,2, and 4 and also had parts in Decoys 2 and Bats. Gabrielle Anwar as Beth Patterson - She was in Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal as well as the 1993 version of Body Snatchers, of course many might have saw her in Disney’s The Three Musketeers as Queen Anne. George Newbern as Father Lyle Dey - Some of his other horror genre roles include parts in Sublime and Doppleganger. Dan Deluca as Wayne Morrison - He wrote, directed, and starred in the horror film The Jersey Devil made in 2005. - Wes Laurie |
