Dark Horse Entertainment is currently developing a project based on the comic series Criminal Macabre. 
The story follows a rough, pill-popping detective, named Cal McDonald, who takes on supernatural forces. Steve Niles, the creator of the comic, announced at the Festival of Fear's 30 Days of Night: Blood Trails panel that within a month a director for the project will be announce. The project was originally going to be made with MGM studios involved, however, creative differences have the project now being developed by an as of yet undisclosed source. |
