A film adaptation of Stephen King’s “The Cell” is Roth’s big profile project right now, however with the screenplay still undergoing work Roth has been working on something called: “Trailer Trash.”First discussed publicly at Comic Con, Trailer Trash is a movie full of fake movie trailers. Perhaps this is in response to the overwhelming popularity of Roth’s contributions to the Grindhouse movie done by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. The Cell, scheduled for a 2009 release, concerns: “When a strange signal pulsates through all cell phone networks worldwide, it starts a murderous epidemic of epic proportions when users become bloodthirsty creatures, and a group of people in New England are among the survivors to deal with the ensuing chaos after.” |
