Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced this week that they are releasing the thriller FRAGMENTS onn DVD on August 4, 2009.
FRAGMENTS stars Kate Beckinsale (UNDERWORLD), Dakota Fanning (CORALINE, PUSH), Guy Pearce (MEMENTO), Jeanne Tripplehorn (“Grey Gardens,” “Big Love”) and Academy Award® winners Forest Whitaker (THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND) and Jennifer Hudson (DREAMGIRLS). Based on the critically acclaimed novel “Winged Creatures” by Roy Freirich, FRAGMENTS was recently honored as an Official Selection of the 2008 Los Angeles Film Festival. Official Synopsis: One moment can change a lifetime. Shots ring out and the early morning tranquility of a diner shatters. As survivors pick up the pieces they find themselves transforming in the most unexpected ways as they cope with the aftermath. One brief moment and their lives are changed forever.
