I don’t live too far from the rental store so you better race on Tuesday to get there before I rent everything first. Actually I doubt Blockbuster has copies of half of these; bad news for me. Bad news for you is I don’t waste my time with alphabetical order, ha ha enjoy!

Bug:
Directed by the guy who did the Exorcist this film was advertised as a horror film, but really at its core critics recognize it as a loveBugdvd story. Two people shack up in a motel room and apparently there are either some delusions involving bugs and or the Matrix broke again and the bugs are real and not having bugs is fake? What? I think I’ll rent this one.

Alone In The Dark:
Alone in the Dark is where I would rather be than watching this film, that’s right pure black night has more interesting things going on in it. However, of you missed one of the earlier releasing of this and feel you must check it out, if for no other reason than you’ve got some kinky feelings for Christian Slater; sorry to out you. Well, this is about: Edward Carnby (Slater), detective of the paranormal, unexplained and supernatural, investigates the recent, mysterious death of a friend. Clues lead him to "Shadow Island," bringing him face to face with bizarre horrors that prove both psychologically disturbing and lethal. Detective Carnby soon discovers that evil demons worshiped by the ancient Abskani culture are planning on coming back to life in the 21st century to once again take over the world.

Eaten Alive:
A sex-crazed, homicidal hotel owner in the Louisiana bayou develops a habit of feeding his victims of choice to famished crocodiles. I remember reading about things similar to this in the serial killer encyclopedia, which director Tobe Hooper may have read as well.

Demons 2:
A Sequel! Dario Argento and Lamberto Bava co-wrote this horror film about two young girls who go to a brutal zombie movie and begin to notice happenings in theater mirroring the action on screen. Soon, half of the audience have been turned into blood thirsty zombies, forcing the remaining patrons to defend themselves from the unholy beasts.

The Warner Brothers Twisted Collection:
This collection means the releasing of 5 horror Dvds in a box set or I’m sure you can find them separate. The 5 films are:

1. Dr. Giggles - A loony DR. takes revenge on a town while giggling.
2. Deadly Friend - This 1986 Wes Craven movie is about a boy who puts a robotic brain inside of his friend after her father threw her down the stairs and killed her.
3. The Hand - 1981 released, Oliver Stone directed, and starring Michael Caine: This movie is about a man who loses his hand in an accident, it vanishes, but then returns on its own to kill people who anger him.
4. Eye of a Stranger - A woman discovers she lives next to a serial killer rapist in this 1981 movie.
5. Someone’s Watching Me - A John Carpenter movie that was made for television in 1978. A woman is tormented by someone who is watching and calling her, and must track him down because the police won’t help.
From Beyond the Grave:
The visitors to a strange antique shop meet with violent deaths.

Suspiria:
Dario Argento shares with us the violent story of a ballet student discovering her school is a place for witches and other nasty things.

Broken:
After dating a wonderful man, Hope comes back home, sees her daughter Jennifer and goes to sleep. She wakes-up in the woods with a psychopath, fighting to survive for more than forty days and asking information about her daughter to the stranger. Hmmm…okay.

Spider Baby:
This cult film featured the debut of Jack Hill and one of the final screen appearances of horror icon Lon Chaney Jr. The story takes place at the home of the Merrye family, victims of a strange disease that degenerates its victims to a pre-human, cannibal state. The sole remaining survivors are the family chauffeur, Bruno sexually precocious sisters Elizabeth and Virginia and their animal-like brother Ralph . The kids like to stalk and kill anything that gets into the yard, including an unlucky telegram messenger , and when some greedy relatives eager to claim the family fortune intrude upon their familial bliss, an evening of wild, murderous thrills is certain.

Cujo:
One mean rabid dog.

Black Roses:
When the sleepy town of Mill Basin is invaded by a sleazy band of hard rockers the town's normal mid-western kids begin to turn bad, in fact they begin to turn into monsters.

The Stendhal Syndrome:
More Argento work, this time about: A young policewoman slowly goes insane while tracking down an elusive serial rapist/killer through Italy when she herself becomes a victim of the brutal man's obsession.

Cat O’ Nine Tails:
Argento fans need to get out this Tuesday, that’s for sure, must be a collection of his releasing because here is yet another, and it’s about: A blind man with a talent for solving puzzles who teams-up with reporter to launch a private investigation into a string of peculiar murders, all of which seem to involve a dubious genetic research facility. The killer soon becomes wise to the duo's plans and will do whatever it takes to stop them from reporting to the police.

Dawn of the Dead/Land of the Dead:
A two pack with the remake of Dawn of the Dead and then George Romero’s follow up.

Stupid Teenagers must Die!:
a group of teenagers find themselves killed off in increasingly ridiculous fashions in a haunted house.

Wingrave:
“The dead never rest, as young parapsychologist Henry Wingrave knows too well. As he struggles with the decision of holding a forbidden form of a séance, he thinks back on three of his most challenging and life altering experiences of dealing with the restless dead. But in dealing with haunted minds for too long, Wingrave eventually becomes haunted himself, by the ghost of loss…” Sounds like someone’s been mixing their depression in with the horror.

The Ferryman:
The story of a group of twenty-something's who charter a boat to Fiji for the trip of a lifetime, before stumbling upon an evil that demands vengeance at any cost.

Count Dracula:
This 1970s version of Bram Stoker’s horror masterpiece originally aired as a three-part series on the BBC.

Frostbitten:
Vampires in a cold place.

Hurt:
I see a bloody girl with a gag in her mouth and one person out of the entire internet has claimed to see this film and liked it.

Three On a Meathook:
Charles Kissinger and James Pickett star in this horror film based on the killings of real life murderer Ed Gein. After their car breaks down, four girls returning from a vacation become stranded and must rely on the apparent generosity of two locals. The next few hours prove to be their last, with these murders being just the early works of a twisted killer.

Satan’s Baby Doll:
A possessed young girl who seduces her family into a deadly erotic web.

The Last Coffin:
A woman who was abused by her parents as a child. Unable to overcome her psychological wounds, she turns into a bloodthirsty serial killer and goes on a murder spree.

The Iron Rose:
A young couple out for a walk decide to take a stroll through a large cemetery. As darkness begins to fall they realize they can't find their way out, and soon their fears begin to overtake them.

Opera:
Argento again: A hooded killer who torments an opera diva.

Dead In the Water:
Two sisters and their boyfriends journey into the remote woods to their parents' lakeside cabin and enter a zombie-filled nightmare.

Reeker:
Strangers trapped at an eerie travel oasis in the desert must unravel the mystery behind their visions of dying people while they are preyed upon by a decaying creature.

Ringu O/ Rasen:
The film that inspired The Ring and then the sequel in a two for one dealie.

In the Dark:
Advertised as real footage ala Blair Witch about some mental institutionalized girl being picked on and well this: In 1984, a hidden crime became a deep, dark secret between friends. Five years later, on Halloween night 1989, the secret got out.

Fractured:
After fleeing a mental hospital, Val wakes up in a bath of his own blood to discover his kidney has been stolen by a prostitute. In a state of stupor, he goes looking for his kidney before it is sold, but ends up entranced by a world much darker than he could even imagine.

Spine:
Follows a serial killer who loves to hunt down nurses and brutally murder them.

Experiments In Terror 2:
This second collection of short films spans several decades in an attempt to bring some of the best avant-garde horror efforts to the screen: "The Mesmerist," "The Early 70s Horror Trailer," "Psych-Burn," "Between 2 Deaths," "Amor Peligrosa," "Hold My Scissors," "Opus 5," "The Fear," and "She Sank on Shallow Bank.
