Actor Gunnar Hansen has been a star in movies and nightmares since playing the role of Leatherface in the 1974 film ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.” Gunnar is now, as reported in Variety and recorded on IMDB, attached to a new type of “massacre” film entitled: “Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre.”The film shall be a product of Iceland, to be directed by Icelandic producer/director Julius Kemp. Described as: The Blair Witch meets The Evil Dead, meets The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This film is about a group of whale watchers whose ship breaks down. The group is then picked up by a whale fishing vessel and horror ensues. Currently the film is aiming for a September of 2008 release in Iceland. - Wes Laurie |
