The MTV movie awards may be giving Superbad most of the nominations, however some horror is up for awards.
Alien vs. Predator from Alien vs. Predator: Requiem are up for: BEST FIGHT. The competition looks to be a sequence from Jumper, Matt Damon fighting in one of the Bourne movies, a dumb scene from the teen flick Never Back Down, Spider Man vs. the new Green Goblin, and Jackie Chan vs. Sun Ming Ming in Rush Hour 3. Disturbia is in the BEST KISS category. Shia LaBeouf and Sarah Roemer’s lip lock is competing against kiss scenes from: Enchanted, Step Up 2 The Streets, Juno, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Will Smith is up for BEST MALE PERFORMANCE thanks to I Am Legend. Others in the category are: Michael “Juno” Cera, Matt “Bourne” Damon, Shai “Transformers” Lebeouf, and Denzel “American Gangster” Washington. I Am Legend is also up for BEST MOVIE against: Juno, Transformers, National Treasure 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and Superbad. BEST VILLAIN gives noms to Angelina Jolie for Beowulf, Javier Bardem for No Country For Old Men, Johnny Depp for Sweeney Todd, Topher Grace for Spiderman 3, and Denzel Washington for American gangster.
