Bigfoot Entertainment’s first feature horror movie has earned bragging rights in the Windy City. The movie titled MIDNIGHT MOVIE won the awards for Best Feature and Best Cinematographer at the 10th annual Chicago Horror Film Festival.
Midnight Movie is a slasher film set in a run-down theater in a sleepy, suburban town. A group of friends attend a midnight screening of a 1970s cult horror film and heckle the old black-and-white scenes. The film turns deadly when the killer emerges from the screen to hunt down each viewer one-by-one. Midnight Movie was also nominated for Best Actress, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Special Effects. The really fun part about the press release this news came from is that the horror film festival Midnight Movie screened and won back in August. So why am I just now receiving a copy of this news?
