Ridley Scott (Gladiator and Hannibal) isn’t a director that shies away from brutal violence or subject matter, therefore one would think his talents would serve him well in the horror genre. Horror fans are about to get some more Scott work with the upcoming Fox 2000 film: “Stones.”
Stones is a supernatural thriller revolving around the mysterious destruction of ancient religious sites around the world. It turns out that Stonehenge is the tie that binds together artifacts that still have primeval powers. It was scripted by Matt Cirulnick and won’t be getting underway anytime soon; Ridley has other commitments to attend to first and development on Stones is also on hold during the WGA strike. - Wes Laurie |
