Director Kevin Tenney has secured the rights to his original horror series: Witchboard. His plans are now to raise funding himself and remake the film.
Witchboard is the 1987 film about a woman who uses a Ouija board to come in contact with a spirit. The spirit turns out to be evil and hatches a plan to posses her and walk the Earth once again. Tenney also wrote and directed the sequel Witchboard 2: The Devil’s Doorway and wrote Witchboard 3: The Possession. The Arrival 2 and Pinocchio’s Revenge are two other examples of Tenny’s work. Tenney’s latest film is a zombie film entitled Brain Dead and his partners that helped with the funding of that project, as stated on Deadpit, seem to be interested in helping Tenney along with his remake project as well. There is no set date for release nor has the initial stages of production began. |
