Under the Bed Films are holding a cool contest for filmmakers called The Apocalypse contest.  It’s a two part sort of affair depending on your preference: zombies or vampires. Under the Bed Films will be releasing two anthology style DVDs in 2008, one called Zombie Apocalypse and the other Vampire Apocalypse, featuring over 200 minutes of shorts and features.  This is where you come in: they want film submissions!

The deadline for your zombie or vampire films is April 1st, 2008 and it looks like first prize in each category is $1,000, second $500, and third is $250.

If you want to submit here is the official addresses and some words from the sponsor:

“The contests will run concurrently. So, if you made a film that hasn't gotten distribution and includes either zombies or vampires SEND IT TO US! The top three films in each category will win a prize as well as possible distribution in major retail stores.”

If it is a vampire film just swap out the word Zombie in the address for Vampire and you should be good to go.
