Reps at Fox are confirming breaking rumors now turned news, Wrong Turned news at that: Wrong Turn 3 is in the works! The first Wrong Turn was accepted rather decently and the sequel was able to pick up a cult following all of its own thanks to the director’s style and Henry Rollins’ acting. The third movie has Declan O’Brien attached to direct. O’Brien has previously been known for his work on Sci-Fi Channel features such as Genesis Code and Cyclops. The second Wrong Turn had more campy humor than the first, perhaps a sci-fi director will fit into the project nicely.
Casting for Wrong Turn 3, which will (barring an outright miracle) be a direct to video and possibly television release has begun. The release itself is looking to happen in 2009. - Wes Laurie |
