Another horror comedy is well on its way and this time, we’re taking a laugh-inducing look at the multimillion dollar haunt industry which seems like material ripened with hilarious fodder.
According to Variety, the newly-single Russell Brand is attached to star in the Paramount and Platinum Dunes film THE HAUNTREPRENEUR which revolves around a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town and hires a peculiar man who calls himself the Hauntrepreneur to help them. In an attempt to bring them together, the man creates a haunted house filled with an odd cast of characters.
Paramount picked up the spec from Scott Rosenberg in October and no doubt will now be looking for a director. Look for more on the THE HAUNTREPRENEUR soon!
