After seeing COLD SWEAT during the 2011 SxSW Film Festival, I know one thing for sure- there are some incredibly wonderful Spanish-language horror stories begin told these days.  Now, it looks like there’s another one on the horizon after the producers of THE ORPHANAGE, JULIA’S EYES and the upcoming PX3D announced today that production has officially begun on Oriol Paulo’s EL CUERPO- or THE BODY for you gringos out there.  The film stars Jaime Pena as a police inspector sent to investigate the disappearance of a woman’s body from a morgue. José Coronado, Belén Rueda, Hugo Silva, and Aura Garrido  round out the cast.

No official release plans have been talked about at this stage in production. Look for more on THE BODY soon!
